Tabitha Bulbrook holds a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy in Maidstone. She is also qualified in dry modern acupuncture, a technique she incorporates alongside her osteopathic treatments. This combination enhances the care she provides, ensuring her patients receive the best possible outcomes.
Tabitha is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and carries full insurance with the Institute of Osteopathy. Her commitment to excellence was recognised when she received the ‘Top Clinic Student’ award from her institution.
Her love for animals led her to combine her osteopathic skills with animal care. After completing her studies as a human osteopath, she pursued an Animal Osteopathy course with Stuart McGregor at the Osteopathic Centre for Animals (OCA). This training enabled Tabitha to work with a variety of animals, including horses and dogs, while maintaining the ability to treat all creatures, great and small.
Trained in both structural and cranial osteopathy, Tabitha can treat individuals of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. Her diverse skill set allows her to address various health concerns effectively.
Tabitha has a unique interest in treating both horses and riders. This dual approach allows her to see the interconnection between the two and how they influence each other’s biomechanics. Understanding this relationship enables her to provide targeted treatments that improve performance and well-being for both horse and rider.
With a deep understanding of animal anatomy and movement, Tabitha offers tailored osteopathic care for both dogs and horses. Whether your dog is experiencing joint stiffness or your horse has a performance issue, we provide expert support to restore and maintain their health. Additionally, we offer holistic care for horse and rider combinations, ensuring both you and your horse are functioning optimally together.
Animal osteopathy is a specialised branch of osteopathic therapy that focuses on diagnosing and treating dysfunction in an animal’s musculoskeletal system. By addressing the underlying causes of pain, stiffness, or poor movement, osteopathy can improve mobility, enhance comfort, and prevent further issues from developing. At Tabitha – The Animal Osteopath, we believe in a holistic approach to animal health, considering the entire body and its interconnections rather than focusing solely on the area of pain.
Using a combination of gentle manual techniques, such as stretching, soft tissue manipulation, and joint mobilization, our osteopathic services aim to support the natural healing processes in dogs and horses. This therapy is particularly beneficial for animals recovering from injury, experiencing chronic conditions, or those who are simply aging and need extra care to maintain their mobility.
